PROJECT 1
RESEARCH TIMELINE ANALYSIS
This is a group project that requires us to do research on architecture buildings in Taman Desa area in Malaysia. Research and analysis that have been done are compiled in a timeline format printed on A3 size.
In group of five, I have learnt about Malaysia architecture after independence. Each group was given a specific region to research on. The timeline building researched is mainly based on 1960's to 1990's. Malaysia architecture is very interesting because of the details and the improvisation of styles through time. I learn to analyze and discuss the relationship of the Modern Architecture of Malaysia with social, cultural, environmental and intellectual context of Malaysian architecture post Merdeka.
PROJECT 2
RESEARCH REPORT
This is a group project where individual tasks are to be compiled and a proper report format is to be handed in. This has increased my understanding on the ideas, principles and detailing of the building chosen which is a mosque in KL - KLCC Mosque.
This helps me to understand the format of a proper architecture report in terms of pictures and writings as well as detail diagrams. This also helps me to understand the sustainability and every detail the architect has designed for the tower.
