Project 1
MODELLING OF AN ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
1. Trace the plan in Autocad.
2. Create the building base. Draw line and extrude it.
3. Extrude the walkway. To make gaps betweeneach piece of wood, good drawn plan will extrude them all by once but my plan ain't pretty so I copy paste one by one.
4. Trace the elevations in Autocad. Make suree all elevations' dimension is fit in plan. SCALE them correctly. Besides, create different layer b4 import it to 3dsmax.
5. Import elevations in 3dsmax and extrude elevation wall with attached opening.
6. Same to all walls. Extrude them all. Create a higher base for the inner building(prevent wave splashing).
7. Draw the beam and columns for walkway and the building, interior n exterior.
8, Change the color to diferrentaite wall floor and columns.
9. Do the detailed part like add window frames and opening, staircase, railing etc...
Rotate pivot windows and doors on the exterior face(designed for view framing for the owner, a movie maker.)
Add frames for sliding door and other openings and change the opacity of the windows.
Create raililng of staicase n ladder by cylinder object. Extrude the plan of the staircase by different height.
10. Cover the roof part(after I stop adding detail for interiorss).
11. Test rendering.
12. Build the contour by creating planes(soft selection, paint, push and pull).
13. Import the building from previous file. Place the model on contour. Done.
14. Click Rendering>Environment and choose blue color for the sky.
15. Rendering. (5 n above views)
